Hand fitting stop pin slot with a diamond file so that the blade's tip does not protrude past the handle and that it opens in the correct position.

One can see the hidden stop pin design.

Late September update.

For those following and wondering what has been going on apart from working and family obligations, I have been looking into purchasing a few tools that I need, suppliers and water jet cutting facilities.

Thank you to American Metals Xchange Inc. and Andre Thorburn for their help in obtaining a sheet of  .160 6AL-4V Titanium.

As of today I am waiting for the water jet service provider to finalize my quote and then the first batch of Model 1s will be in the works.

On a side note, the Prototype has proven to be an adequate workhorse folder for me.

Below is a video of the knife being used.

Model 1 Prototype

After months of research, trial and error I have finally completed my first framelock flipper.

A special thank you to Andre van Heerden and Andre Thorburn, two custom knife makers, that have helped me to achieve this dream.
